Miroslav Janatka

I am an enthusiastic third year International Relations and European Studies student with extensive international experience involving an Erasmus study stay in The Hague. I chose Saint Mary's University because of its excellent political science program, especially the Model United Nations course, which I find great for expanding and putting into practice knowledge of international organizations. I expect that studying at your university will allow to deepen my analytical skills and prepare me to tackle complex global challenges.

History: I am a passionate fan of history, especially the early medieval period. I am an active member of a fencing group that specializes in medieval fighting techniques.
Sports: I have been a lifelong recreational golfer and skier. I also competed in athletics for eight years, which allowed me to develop endurance, discipline, and team spirit. I also run and work out regularly at the gym.
