Responsibility for the complete manufacturing preparation from a business case to a start of the production including rump-up phase

Main activities:

• Leading regular DFM meetings with R&D to ensure product manufacturability.
• Collaborating on product assembly specifications and reviewing assembly drawings.
• Conducting PFMEA and RFMEA analyses to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Developing process specifications for new equipment and supporting RFQ process.
• Communicating product changes with R&D to facilitate easier manufacturing.
• Ensuring manufacturability and reliability of new products by collaborating with R&D, quality, and CMs.
• Defining, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
• Managing and overseeing contract manufacturers for compliance and on-time delivery.
• Coordinating assembly line installation, including product and process validation.
• Supporting NPI builds to ensure production readiness and on-time delivery.
• Planning and supervising sample builds to guarantee product quality.
• Conducting time and motion studies to eliminate inefficiencies.
• Preparing detailed work instruction documents.
• Managing changes, regular reporting, risk management, and escalation.

Main projects:

• New gluing line for Display Unit with strong focus on fully automatic production process housed within ISO 7 cleanroom environment
• New final assembly line for Display Unit including PCB production and ICT testing
• Cobotisation of complete THT/ ICT area for PCB milling and testing including layout planning and production space preparation
• Ramp-up of assembly line for digital cluster, production optimization and capacity increase

Responsible for all projects assigned during life cycle phases along with managing project teams across the production plant

Main activities:

• Project budget – investments and expenses Set up, management and coordination of project team
• Planning and leading project including milestone validation
• Coordination of assembly line production, product and process validation Internal project meetings – project reviews, action plans, solving every day and ad hoc problems
• Communication with customers, customer visits, audits Regular reporting, risk management and escalation
• Change management
• Close cooperation with R&D department in offshore location

Main projects:

• New assembly line for multimedia device with integrated navigation including PCB production and ICT testing
• New assembly line for optical bonding of touch screens process housed within ISO 7 cleanroom environment

• Setting up a new assembly line in Mexico => activities as described above
• Technical production support in China, company transfer preparation

Project Management role over seeing product lifecycle from conceptual design to manufacturing

Main projects:

• New Locksets (keys, handles, door locks, ignition locks, etc.) for OEMs DAF, VW, Skoda, SVW Set up of new FACEA plant in China
• Selection and preparation of production premises, assembly lines, set up of production, training, audits Localization of production of single components in China for FACEA China and FACEA in CZ

Checking incoming components for quality, dimensions, and material releasing them for serial production. Communication with suppliers to manage deviations and claims, ensuring compliance and resolving issues.
