I worked at this hotel on the 4-12 shift. When I arrived at the shift, I would check the system to see if there were rooms with late check-outs. When the guests checked out, I would check out from the system and inform the floor staff that they could clean the room.

If the guests had any requests, I would handle them, if there were any technical issues, I would handle the situation with the technical service.

If there were any guests checking in, I would help them

This was a 5-star hotel. I would answer the phones and transfer them to the necessary departments.

There would be an average of 70-80 check-ins a day and I would perform these procedures and put the signed papers in the files.

If the guests had complaints, I would explain the situation to the necessary managers and solve the problems.

If the guests wanted something, I would reach the floor staff or if there was a problem, I would reach the technical service and explain the problem and have them solve it.

This hotel was a 21-room boutique hotel. I was the night receptionist. I would check in guests arriving at night and check out those leaving.

I would get end-of-day reports and close the day from the system, print daily reports and put them in files.

If guests wanted something at night, I would do what I could and provide them.
