I am a hospitality specialist, currently working as a Room Service Server at Four Seasons Hotel Prague, I have worked in the Food and Beverage sector of the hospitality industry at 5* Hotels in Greece since 2013.
What just started as another job quickly turned into a passion. I was immediately hooked by the secret word behind the closed doors with the label "Only Staff".
Once I became a member of a hotel brigade I got to see where the magic happens. And it is magical when you take part and see how a banqueting for 600 people at he beach can be realized, or a wedding ceremony of 400 guests or a private dinning for a wedding proposal. We help to create unique experiences through team work. And being part of a team that can achieve difficult tasks and goals can be fulfilling.
But the most satisfying part of working in the hospitality industry is interacting with guests. I have worked for several hotel companies for years, and I have encountered hundreds of guests with whom we often built a great relationship. When I see someone coming back after a long time and greets me with a huge smile or a warm hug, it gives me satisfaction and motivation to go on even more eagerly.
As a result of my ongoing motivation I managed to become employee of the season for three years in a row. Looking to harness my skills and knowledge even more I completed my Masters Degree in the field of Management of Tourism Businesses and Organizations in 2022 with my dissertation being about Service recovery Customer satisfaction and Service Quality.
All these years working at the restaurants I had the opportunity to create good working relationships with foreign guests and my colleagues, which allowed me to develop excellent social skills, the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively, and to adapt and learn new things.
