I used to go in every Sunday to help out in the church service. Here I would help in playing the Hymns on the CD recorder. During the Sunday service, I would help in serving out the refreshments and handing out biscuits for the patients . This would give me happiness as I made connections with the individuals at the care home and they would look forward to me coming on a Sunday morning.
I would help out in transporting dementia patients through the care home in their wheelchairs and take them where they would like for example in the garden to get some fresh air.
