Serving night shifts at Small Animal Clinic of University of Veterinary Sciences Brno.

• Taking care of patients (dogs, cats) hospitalised at ICU (drug applications, monitoring, IV fluid management etc.).
• Helping doctors with emergency patient management (whole process from admission to final hospitalisation).
• Picking up incoming calls.
• Assisting in emergency surgeries (pyometra, explorative laparotomy, GDV etc.).

Voluntary practice at a veterinary clinic.

• Opportunity to shadow small animal doctors performing orthopaedic surgery, internal medicine, oncology, soft tissue surgery, endoscopy, diagnostic imaging (xray, usg), exotic animal medicine and small mammal medicine.
• Participated actively in patient admission, diagnosis and treatment.

One week practice at a ZOO

• Maintained clean living conditions for enhanced animal welfare.
• Monitored animal behaviour for signs of illness or distress.
• Worked with many species (Asian water buffalo, Watusi cattle, marmosets, big hairy armadillo, South American tapir and many more).

Teenage part-time job.

• Dismantled old cars into spare components.
• Maintained premises clean.
• Managed storage facilities (sorted-out components in warehouses).
