Summary

Czech-born and British-educated, I am an award-winning academic-entrepreneur with a rich background in research and knowledge management, spanning nearly 15 years in the UK, and entrepreneurial and business experience of 8 years in the Czech Republic. In 2016, I founded Family Bakery, a successful family business in the Czech Republic that has received awards for innovation and excellence, gaining recognition through features on TV, in national press and practitioner magazines.

My expertise lies in quantitative and qualitative data analysis of applied research. Throughout my career, I have led and been part of a number research projects and consequently contributed to both knowledge and practice in areas such as investment in human capital, business and enterprise, digital innovation, customer loyalty, Net Promoter Score, and the complexities of gambling among adolescents and professional athletes.

I possess effective communication skills, having disseminated research outputs to varied audiences, including students, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and fellow researchers and academics. Recognising the importance of bridging the gap between academia and industry, I adeptly converted research findings from academic articles and conference papers into accessible and impactful formats like video-podcasts, blogs, presentations, and reports.
