From bustling city streets to lush forests, this open-world medieval RPG is set in the gold and silver gilded heart of Europe. KCD2 is an ambitious project developed on CryEngine that I feel honored to have been a part of all the way through. (5+ years)


  • My role was to make both natural/organic environmental elements and man-made ones. I was also entrusted with creating many of the game's cutscene and mini-games specific assets, as well as 3D UI.


  • These tasks required a keen eye for detail and they are the result of working very closely with designers, programmers, concept artists, and many creative leads in order to create functional art. Not only making them but then refining them endlessly to shine at their best when repeatedly presented to the players.


  • Besides my well honed traditional art skill of modeling and texturing I enjoy experimenting with new or unorthodox methods of creating to overcome technical limitations.


  • The technologies used in KCD2 is now fairly dated so it often required very unusual applications to achieve our visual targets.

What I do when I'm not working?


I love lifting very heavy circles and putting them back down. 

It brings me joy to discover curious details of nature most others miss and to bring myself closer to the simple yet most real parts of life.

  • I live in a home full of life, especially plants. It brings me joy taking care of animals and people.
